Collection: Shocktober

Throughout the month of October, we proudly present "Shocktober," a public awareness campaign with a mission to educate our community on the importance of CPR and the effective use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs).

In Australia, the survival rate for cardiac arrest occurring outside of a hospital stands alarmingly low at just 9%. Out of the 20,000 Australians each year (that's 55 people per day) who experience out-of-hospital cardiac arrests, a mere 1,800 are fortunate enough to survive.

It's crucial to understand that sudden cardiac arrest can strike anyone, at any time, without any prior warning. Time is paramount in these situations, and bystanders play an indispensable role in increasing survival rates.
