Proline Medical Hygiene Monitoring System - Surface Protein Pen System

The Chemdye PRO1 MICRO is a high-sensitivity protein detection system designed to identify residual protein on surfaces and in difficult-to-access areas following a cleaning process.

Each single-use device combines a reactive solution with a highly absorbent swab, allowing samples to be collected efficiently from a variety of surfaces. The system supports both qualitative visual analysis and quantitative analysis when used with compatible Bionova incubation and reading equipment.

With a sensitivity of 0.3 µg of BSA and a quantification limit of 1.0 µg of BSA, PRO1 MICRO is suitable for cleaning verification and hygiene monitoring in dental, healthcare and pharmaceutical environments.

Result Analysis

Qualitative Analysis: Incubate for seven minutes at 60 ± 2°C using the Bionova IC10/20 incubator. Interpret the result visually using the reference guide supplied with the product.

Quantitative Analysis: Use a compatible Bionova IC10/20FR, IC10/20FRLCD or MiniPro auto-reader incubator.

• IC10/20FR or IC10/20FRLCD readout time: 7 minutes
• MiniPro readout time: 4 minutes

• Do not open the device until it is ready for use.
• Single-use only. Do not reuse.
• Do not touch the swab or the inside of the device.
• Wear gloves, a surgical mask and follow appropriate hygiene procedures.
• Do not freeze.
• High concentrations of alkaline detergents may produce false-negative results.
• Hydrogen peroxide-based disinfectants may produce a false-positive colour reaction.
