Out of the 20,000 Australians each year (that's 55 people per day) who experience out-of-hospital cardiac arrests, a mere 1,800 are fortunate enough to survive.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt's crucial to understand that sudden cardiac arrest can strike anyone, at any time, without any prior warning.
